Every race season drivers in the Spec10 class have the opportunity to race for a championship with the trophy being a belt (WWE style belt). Each race season is comprised of 6 races with points being awarded each race. The higher you finish, the more points you get. 2 races can be dropped at the end of the season. The race schedule and points are kept on this site.
How are points awarded? The winner of the A Main gets 100 points, 2nd place in the A Main gets 99 and so on. If there are 8 cars in the A, then the first car in the B main is awarded 92 points with the points decreasing by 1 for the next lower position until all cars in the field are awarded points. If any cars bump from a lower main, then they will be awarded only the points awarded for their finish in the upper main. No points are awarded for TQ.
A Mains are 100 laps.
Tie Breakers:
1. Most wins
2. Most TQ's
The championship belt is awarded at the end of the Snowbird Nationals.
